“ 88 KEYS TO ATTAINING OUR GRAND GOAL ”

The Lancaster Conservatory of Music has committed to upgrading our piano department by becoming a designated Steinway institution.  The piano department is the foundation of every music school and reaches all the students who study there.  In order to become an “All-Steinway School”, we will be replacing existing instruments with Steinway and Steinway-designed Boston and Essex pianos, which are the pianos of choice of professional musicians and students worldwide.

Our Grand Goal . . . is to raise $1,000.00 for each key on the keyboard.  We are asking you to partner with us in raising the $88,000.00 necessary to achieve our goal.  Ultimately, all funds that exceed our goal will be designated to the Louis and Mary Bainbridge Vyner Endowment Fund.

The Conservatory is a non-profit education institution, which provides musical instruction of the highest caliber to our community.  Your contribution in any amount is tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.  Checks may be made payable to the Lancaster Conservatory of Music, Inc. and sent to 1020 Dillerville Road, Lancaster, PA 17603.

You may personalize your gift by coming to the Conservatory and signing your name on the piano keyboard in the lobby.  We thank you in advance for joining our 70th Anniversary celebration – “ 88 Keys To Attaining Our Grand Goal”!

Why the Lancaster Conservatory of Music should become an All- Steinway School.

Steinway is known throughout the world for its high standard of quality and excellence.  Steinway-designed pianos are considered to be the finest keyboard instruments and are the preferred choice of 90 percent of the world’s concert pianists.  Purchasing Steinway-designed pianos for our students’ use reflects our commitment to acquire unsurpassed instruments and underscores our obligation to provide the best possible environment for our students.  Combining superior instruments with excellent faculty will ensure that Conservatory students have unparalleled opportunities in musical education.
